What the Body Tries to Tell

For nearly two decades, I have accompanied people through their healing journeys, seeking to understand not only the symptoms they experience, but also the story their bodies are trying to tell.
Throughout my professional journey, I realized that one of the most transformative moments in patient care happens when people understand what their own bodies are trying to communicate. When we recognize that a symptom is not merely a problem to be eliminated, but also a form of communication from the body, care takes on a completely different meaning.
It was this realization that deepened my passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine.
From this perspective, body, mind, and emotions are all part of the same system. Qi is the vital energy that animates and integrates all the body’s processes. Its harmonious flow sustains life and balance. When this movement is disrupted, the body sends signs that deserve to be observed with attention and respect.
I have always believed that this knowledge should not remain limited to clinics or classrooms. That is why I began creating educational materials, translating concepts that are often considered complex into language that is closer to everyday life, while preserving the depth of this ancient medical tradition.
From this purpose came projects such as the Chinese Medicine Biological Clock and Turminha das Queixas, where characters like Mrs. Constipation, Mr. Stress, and Aunt Anxiety help transform complex concepts into stories that are easy to understand. These materials were created to bring Traditional Chinese Medicine closer to people through an approachable, visual, and welcoming language.
More than teaching techniques or explaining theories, my purpose is to bring people closer to this medical tradition, showing that it offers a sensitive and profound way of understanding the human being.
