Nourishing with Presence: So Much More Than Food

When we think about nutrition, the first thing that usually comes to mind is food. Yet, throughout my journey as a nutritional therapist, I have come to understand that true nourishment goes far beyond what we place on our plates.
We are nourished by our choices, our relationships, the way we deal with our emotions, the quality of our rest, the thoughts we cultivate, and the way we care for ourselves. All of these aspects have a profound influence on our health and well-being.
It was from this understanding that the Nourish with Presence Method was born.
I believe that healthy eating is essential, but it becomes even more meaningful when we learn to listen to our bodies with attention, respect, and awareness. Too often, we look for quick solutions to restore balance, when the first step may simply be to slow down and hear what our body is trying to tell us.
Throughout my experience, I have seen that the body, mind, and emotions are deeply connected. When one falls out of balance, the others are affected as well. That is why I choose to see each person as a whole, respecting their story, their habits, their needs, and the stage of life they are living.
This search for a broader perspective led me to deepen my studies in Integrative Nutrition, Female Hormonal Balance, and Self I-Dentity through Ho’oponopono. Each of these areas has expanded my understanding of the human being and strengthened my belief that every journey of care begins with presence.
Being present means noticing the signals of the body, acknowledging our emotions, respecting our own limits, and making more conscious choices, one day at a time.
This is the perspective I hope to share with Mundo Reiki readers.
In the articles to come, I will explore topics related to nutrition, women’s health, self-care, hormonal balance, human development, and inner transformation, always with the conviction that true nourishment begins when we learn to care for ourselves with presence, awareness, and kindness.
Because, in the end, nourishment is about much more than feeding the body.
It is about nourishing life.
