Michele Nunes Scheidt began her Reiki journey in 2001 and, since 2012, has devoted herself full-time to teaching, clinical practice, and the development of projects focused on holistic care through Reiki.

She is a Reiki Master in the Usui and Karuna Reiki® Systems, as well as a writer and researcher dedicated to the study of Reiki philosophy and practice. She shares her knowledge through courses, workshops, mentoring, lectures, and publications, contributing to the education of Reiki practitioners and masters.

In addition to her professional work, she takes part in volunteer initiatives that bring Reiki to different community settings, including Primary Health Care Units, expanding access to care, support, and well-being.

She is the founder of Espaço Sakura, established in 2013 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The center is dedicated to education, human development, and Integrative and Complementary Therapies, with Reiki serving as the foundation of a respectful and inclusive approach to care for people of all beliefs and traditions.

As a contributor to the Mundo Reiki Library, she shares reflections and experiences that help broaden the dialogue on Reiki as a path to self-awareness, holistic care, and human transformation.
